Which is a better series... "Twilight" or "Harry Potter"? (I vote Twilight; the Harry Potter books sucked)

Harry Potter, hands down. I read the first book of Twilight and thought that it was a horrible piece of "literature". I really don't get the appeal. Harry Potter however... I absolutely love.

I can't really compare the two and give an honest opinion since I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books, but I definitely loved reading Twilight.

They both was a waste of time in my opinion. Both sucked and as far as Harry, it had been done before just rewritten in a different way but same thing.

HARRY POTTER is better. it's more well planned & well written. the twilight series could have been better if meyer had more experience in writing & she made her characters a bit more likeable (like bella, couldn't she have made her less weak? faintin @ the sigh of blood & clumsy too?) harry potter is awesome. even though it's all fake, rowling has a way of making it all seem so real.

As much as I love Twilight' I'd have to say that Harry Potter is better' no question. It's just more well-rounded, it's written better, and it gives everyone something to love about it. Even though it has magic, the characters still feel human and relatable, whereas in Twilight nearly all the characters are unbeliveable, and Stephenie Meyer tried to make Bella too relatable- and by that she gave her no structure at all. In short, Harry Potter.

i would say harry potter.... it is better written and theres more development of characters.. i think twilight had a good plot but it was poorly written.

Well what do i say i absutuly luv both i have read all harry potter books and they were my fav for abou 4 years untill twilight came out i am soz but i have to say twiliht because it made me smile, laught, been upset and thats what a good book is to experence some kind of emotion all though i still luv harry potter its twilight for me Team jacob

When I was in Middle School I fell in love with Harry Potter, when I came to collage I fell in love with Edward Cullens... It depends on the age really. Once you a HP fan,always an HP fan...(Even those HP is written manly for middle school) then when your order (like High School and Collage Twilight is better your suit.
