I dont like my little ones writing on their skin with ink pens and I make it clear to them, then my 5 yr. old comes home (2nd time) with ink on her hands. One said L and one said R (left and right hand) guess all the kids had this done. any thoughts?

i don't like it either and made it clear too but they still come home with writing sometimes.

have them scrub it off and don't make a big deal about it

I would speak to the teacher. Also if your daughter knows the letter L, have her put her arms out with her fingers together and the thumbs pointing to each other. The left index finger and thumb will make the shape of the letter L.
