My truck is in my ex girlfriends name & she has reported it stolen. what can happen?

I saw this on a court show! Ok the police do have the right to come take it because it is in her name. However, you can show proof that you paid for the truck or make payments on the truck and that it is rightfully yours. I don't know if you have to go to court to do this or if you can show the police though. I would imagine it would have to be done in court so in the meantime you are without a truck. Bummer.

First off, it's not actually your truck, it's hers. So give it back. And secondsly if you have any proof it should be your truck SUE her.

If the police see the truck they will pull it over and arrest who ever is driving it.

It is her truck, her name is on the title, they can arrest you for auto theft. You would have to take her to court, and prove you made all the payments, and that is was meant to be your vehicle. -
You are driving a stolen truck. That is really bad news. You will have to prove that you made the payments. If you can't.................

you need to go press charges against her for 'failure to sign the title over' ... it will nullify any dispute regarding the truck being 'stolen' or 'misused' =)
