If you get laser surgery to correct short-sightedness, will you still have to wear glasses for reading? Or can they correct both types of vision impairments at the same time?

    If you are over forty, you will probably have to wear glasses for reading. You can ask for one eye to be optimized for reading, but that eye will be a little bit short-sighted.

    Any kind of keratotomy is difficult to make a prediction that's accurate.

    I had radial 27 years ago, and lost my need for glasses. Now, I'm gonna have to get some.
