Help answer this question below.

You know how a lot of girlslike british or australian accents. Well do british or australlian boys like girls with american accents?

    I am Australian, and I am a female, so I can only report hearsay :)
    I have not heard guys say they like or dislike any accent. I think it is like any other preference, some guys may like it, others might not, and a whole bunch will be indifferent :)

    Depends - I think NY and Californian accents are cool, but deep south really doesn't do it for me.

    It's down to personal preference, I am UK and do not hear the accent on any tv shows but where I live gets US visitors and the accent stands out, and is nicely different :o)

    Yes, but it does depend on the accent. Some American accents are nasal and irritating.

    I don't mind Californian ones like the ones you here on a lot of tv programmes - they sound a bit lazy but they sound soft too. New York is not good. Some east coast accents like Maine seem nice. Southern ones grate on me.

    Well, like others have said I think it's a matter of personal preference, but my brothers associate American girls with people like Paris Hilton etc, who, while being attractive, are absolute idiots, and therefore don't really make the accent all that likeable.
