You're reading You have 8 pills. they all have the same color,shape,taste, and size. however one is a poisonous pill and weighs a fraction more then the others. you have a balancing scale but you can only use it twice. find the poisonous pill

okay you ansered my question but i dont get what you mean if the 3/3 isnt equal, wat is the next step if i can only use the scale a last time?

If the three against three is not of equal weight, the extra two pills you didn't weigh are fine.... The lighter set contains the bad pill. At this point, you've narrowed the bad pill down to just three pills. If you take two of the three suspect pills and weigh them against each other (the second time using the scale) and they are of equal weight, the odd pill is the bad pill. If when you weigh them against each other one is lighter than the other, the lighter pill is the bad pill.
