I have a Panasonic tv with built-in vcr. It is approximately 8 years old. The set is used primarily for children's vhs tapes. We would like to hook a dvd player to it. How do we do that?

Assuming that the TV doesn't have any Aux video and audio input jacks, you'll probably need to use the RF output of the DVD player, if it has one. Take the RF output of the DVD player and connect it to the RF input jack of the TV, and tune the TV to channel 3 or 4 and you should be able to watch the DVDs that way.

If the DVD player has no RF output jack, you can purchase a "RF modulator" from some place like Walmart or online at Amazon.com for about $15. This will take the video ouputs from the DVD player and create an RF signal that you can connect to your TV (again, tuning the TV to channel 3 or 4).

I hope this helps. If this is still confusing, please post what sort of inputs and outputs your TV and DVD player have. This will help us help you figure out the best way to connect them together.
