No...when I say "I love you" I mean it. I would say "I care about you" or something similar, if I didn't love the person.

I said it once, and I regretted it immediately afterward.

B.fife My honesty makes people angry...

There have been times when I've been ambushed with this while"in the act"and I have to admit I've been guilty of replying during the heat of the moment...

Yes my boyfriends 5yr old. Theres something about when a child says "I love you"-I just can't say, "look buddy, I don't love you in fact I can barely stand you."

No, because I feel there are different levels of love... thats why you follow it with "as a friend or in a specail way"

Never. That is a lie, whatever the motive. There are many different kinds of love..romantic,platonic,everyday...I love cauliflower..I love Jim..I love my son..I love my friends..I love life...all real, true and different from one another. But to say it about anyone or anything and not mean it? Never happen. I'm not wired that way. Happy Tuesday! :)

Yeah during my on/off relationship. I used to love her but stopped at some point yet still said it on occasion when she said it first.

my last two boyfriends would say they loved me to me, but i didnt love them and would say 'that's sweet' or something similar. That was actually hard because i could tell they were upset i didnt say it back but in the long run when i broke up with them it made it slightly easier.

Yes, I say I love someone quite often, I am not meaning I am IN love with them, but I love them as a friend, as a fellow human being. I see nothing wrong and much right with telling a friend or another person you love them; in fact as a Christian I am commanded to LOVE my neighbour as myself

I think there should be more love in this world and less hate and disrespect.

Yes, last year I did this kind of thing. from my experience, now I know that this is not a good thing to do. say "I love you" when you really mean it.
