It all depends where you place the humor, it probably should be left out of the suicide or depression category for obvious reasons, that is unless they're asking someone to cheer them up.

very true but there are nights on here where NOBODY will answer a question wanting humor and they want nothing but serious questions all the time. (I haven't seen one "humor" question tonight on the front page. It's much easier to laugh and smile than frown all the time.. I don't get why people on here are SO AGAINST using humor

Well, some people may have had a bad day and just don't feel like dealing with it and don't realize how it can really help out. But in some cases humor may not fix things, for example my Xbox 360 acted up and I tried to self repair it, and it took a few self attempts to repair it and humor probably would have annoyed me. But now that you say it, I haven't read any humor questions on the main page yet...
