The easiest way is to save it to web page from inside PowerPoint. You can find the command under the File menu.
Convert PowerPoint to a web-based format like html or flash, the flash format is better since it will reserve the animations, background music in the original PowerPoint presentation. All you need is a PowerPoint to flash converter, take a look at the recommendations for such a kind of programs at http://www.masternewmedia.org/powerpoint_to_flash_conversion_tools/part-5.htm

You're reading I have a powerpoint presentation that I would like to turn into a website. What is the best way to go about this?

Do you mean saving it in html format? I had done that and then tried to download it to a free website I found online. It downloaded, but it didn't display any of my work. Is it because it is multiple pages. Sorry, this is all brand new to me.

When saving the file select the Web Page (*.htm, *.html). If your presentation contains many slides it will generate many files. The files to launch your presentation can be either frame.htm which launches a two frame window and fullscreen.htm which opens a window with the contents of the presentation that you can advance through by clicking the mouse on the slide. If you're still still stuck, tell us what you're getting so we can help you better.
