It's not easy. I spent 5 hours doing the rear shocks.

The top of the shock is mounted to a bracket that is attached to the car frame with 3 bolts. One is easy to get to, the second is not too bad, but the third is almost impossible to get to. On my first shock I ended up removing the upper arm to get to the bolt. For the next one I bend a 14mm box end wrench to access the recessed bolt.

Once the three bolts on the bracket are removed you would remove the bolt on the bottom of the shock. That's very easy to do.

The most frustrating part is getting the shock out of the vehicle. The top of the shock is mounted to the bracket which has to come out of the recessed area in the frame with the shock. One trick that I learned is to get under the car and guide the bracket out of the recess. It's VERY frustrating but trust me it does come out.

Once the shock and bracket are out you replace the shock on the bracket.

Getting the shock back into the recess is again a VERY difficult task. Looking at it from under the car really helps. It is impossible to do if you are looking at it from the tire size.

So my first shock took about 4 hours and the second took about an hour.

    Good luck.
