Luck-wise, it shouldn't make a difference since the black cat has to walk in front of you. You also need to break the mirror and walk under the ladder.

Absolutely nothing. The myth that black cats/breaking a mirror/walking under a ladder is all untrue. I have 2 black cats(1 that's all black and one that has a little white on her), I've broken many mirrors in my lifetime, and I've walked under ladders. After I've done that, bad luck hasn't happened. Its all untrue, that's why they're called myths.
