Do you agree that the Russian people were ultimately responsible for saving Europe during the Second World War?

    No.

    It was Hitlers mistake of trying to subdue and take the Eastern front (Russia) in Winter that helped to save Europe. It gave the rest time to recoup in the West.

    Russia was a very important factor.

    The Russians were an extremely important factor, but it was the joint efforts of people of many nationalities that won through.

    Not at all. I am not Russian but let me tell you that we would have come through if they had just sat around. Over all though it did take an alliance of many nations to get to the end of the war.
