Depends. You can obviously never own a house, but then again you can never forclose on one. You don't own any credit cards, but then you don't have any debt and aren't paying any interest. You don't own a car, but then you aren't wasting your money on gas,insurance, maintenance etc. It all depends on your perspective. There can be a lot of advantages to having credit and a lot of disadvantages. Depends on the means in which you enjoy living life.

Not at all. I have paid off everything except my car and my Harley, and those should be paid for by the end of this year. I don't intend to EVER borrow money again! : D
