While dining at a restaurant, what is the proper way to dispose of the inedible parts of the shrimp---should you sweep it under the plate, or just move it to the corner of it?

I put them in a bev nap and fold it up and have the server take it when I'm done. I don't know that there is a proper way, but I think that's a good, clean way.
