id say its up to the napper
-
not sure ive took a few hour nap before. lol!
-
15 minutes to less than 8 hours.
-
I read if you nap, stop after 45 minutes, anything beyond that isn't considered just a nap.

i got all of my information from: <http://www.saramednick.com/htmls/press/media/canton.pdf> So if someone doesn't believe me, check. If you want to want to be more alert and have more energy and stamina: a 15- 20 min. power nap is all you need. If you want to memorize a speech or remember dates or formulas for a test: a 30- 40 min. nap is better- it puts you in slow-wave sleep, the deepest stage of sleep (Past Rapid Eye Movement: the stage in which you have dreams) <<HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM WITH FREQUENT NAPPING IS THAT IT MAY BE MASKING A MEDICAL PROBLEM>> That is the main facts, but there is much more to read, if you want to continue, i sourced the website at the top.

An hour, and a half is a nap to me
-
Limit of naptime is 40 winks. At 41 winks it becomes sleep
-
if you go to bed one day and wake up before the day is over it's a nap
-
I think it's all about when and where you sleep. If I pass out on the couch for 6 hours during the day, then it's a nap. But if I sleep for 6 hours at night in my bed, it's sleep.
-
You need 4 hours of sleep to be fully rested, 2 to get to rem sleep and 2 of rem sleep. So a nap is up to 3 1/2 hours after 4 it is sleep. Between 3 1/2 and 4 hours is questionable.
-
it really depends on the time and if or if not you experience REM sleep (which produces dreams) *basically if you're dreaming you're sleeping and if *you're asleep (different than sleeping) for a long time than you're sleeping
-
for me a nap is something i can wake up from without feeling like i came from under a log, and sleep is something i wake up feeling refreshed. anything in between feels worse than before!
-
to me, anything under 2 and a half hours is just a nap.
