Ok, i have an acting audition. I have to prepare a monologue that explores a character in a new environment, space or situation. any ideas?

I would put the character in a situation where he or she has just made a big decision such as: * just starting a new job; * just fallen in love; * just brought a new home; * just married; * just divorced; and * just started at school or university. I would explore how he or she would feel in that situation and how would they express it. Regards
