I wouldnt stop watching them. If they cant handel it, then they just arent the partner for me.

No, I would stop. Thankfully my wife has no problem with this. When we were first together I was a little concerned that she may not share my views on sexual activity, but she actually suggested to me first that we might want to watch an adult movie. Some are just pure rubbish, but there are some that we learn new techniques from, and get a chance to see them in practice. I have watched a couple of movies on my own, but it just isn't the same for me - I need my wife with me so we can discuss, laugh, scratch our heads, and maybe attempt some of the activities portrayed.

I think it's possible you're being overly sensitive about this. For some men, though, masturbation becomes an addiction, and watching a movie is a way of releasing his tension without (in HIS mind) being unfaithful to you, whom he loves a great deal. I don't know if there is a difference in sex drives, or any number of other things, but I doubt he sees watching a film as being unfaithful, and removing that media from him might push him to do something stupid in the end.

Well, I would probably stop... though I see no reason why it should annoy your spouse. It is possible that she is insecure or even selfish. I would discuss it with her first before I made a decision.

- Whats even worse is I am the one who is bothered by this. It never bugged me before, but for some reason I do have an issue with it. He watches it a couple times a week which is kinda bothersome to me. I know I need to get over this, I just want to know the opinion of others. Thanks for you advice. :)

- We have a very healthy sex life. This is an adult relationship and the way I see it is why does he feel the need to look at other women. I am not insecure about it just trying to relate why he would want to picture himself with another woman (if he is even doing so) I want to know if this would create a cause for concern and if there is a certian point in a mans life that he no longer feels the need to continue this act.

I don't watch adult movies and I don't have a spouse, but if I did have a spouse and watch adult movies, I would stop if she requested it. It is a small sacrifice that could facilitate our relationship.

- FINALLY a male who actually gets the point. Its about the relationship and its health not you "going places in your head" alone or worse with another sex partner. You may not make actual physical contact but don't they say that the mind is the sexiest place on the body?

well I did and now we are on the border line of a divorce, but theres more... my wife was a stripper that gave guys hand jobs in the vip area. She convinced me that it was her job.I accepted it but while she was at work I was at home and sometimes i got urges to to watch it, so i did. I didnt think it was cheating but she did cause I eventually told her like a dumb ass! I feel stupid cause I dont know whose wrong, me or her or both. only difference is that I did it behind her back and she told me about it. I think that once we are divorced I will go back to it and I will wait a long time until I can find a woman that agrees with my sexual desires so to speak. But can you tell me...whose right or wrong me or her? by the way this was 6 months ago and I have stop since then. And so has she but I let it go and she constantly bugs me about it.

- Perhaps she is closed minded about fidelity. No matter what a man SAYS he is picturing himself with the woman on the screen not his girlfriend or wife.
  That is mental cheating but it is still cheating the partner out of an intimate experience that she or he didn't voluntarily give up.

- Weather or not it is considered cheating concerns how it is done - behind the back and secretively is cheating the partner out of a lot of different things. CHEATING does not always mean being sexually unfaithful. Perhaps your porn use is depriving your partner of sex they could be having with you, or if you are sneaking you are cheating them out of honesty and knowing who you really are so that can make as informed decision weather or not they can co-exist in the relaitonship with the porn. Certainly in some cases there can be in securities especially when the couple is older and the man (or woman) is viewing much younger women. Some people say "oh she(he) is just insecure about the relationship. What difference does the REASON make? If you value porn above your partners happiness and self esteem your partner has every reason to feel insecure. There is no big shame in feeling insecure about porn or money or anything else. Nor does a partner's insecurity justify porn use.
