You're right. It's not a plant at all. But, mushrooms do survive off decaying plant matter, so I guess that answer isn't right. I really cant think of anything. Yeast eat sugars. I don't think there is anything.

No, crocodiles eat animals that eat animals that eat plants. They may eat some plants, also. I'm not really sure.

Well, maybe the science teacher is thinking of mushrooms. But, technically that is not correct. I am a science teacher, also, but biology is my least favorite science, so I may be wrong. I can't wait to hear the answer.

ah, but eggs are independent of chickens as they are a by-product, they aren't really the product.

I sure would like to know what the answer to this is, unless it has to do with minerals - or if you will something like medieval times when women would go into the "dairy" and eat the clay coating off the walls (while pregnant) for vitamins.
I guess I might say clay, or ground minerals, as in vitamins.
