You need to consult a realtor or banking institution that handles and is knowledgable of such things. It's hard to discern without looking at all the paperwork involved. - Then it might be cheaper in the long run to consult and attorney to review the aspects of the case.

By the way, I never saw or signed an increased addendum (sp???) I was credited for upgrades payed in cash, but the sale price on the house was not increased by that amount. I would think once the builder signed off at that price, this should be a done deal.
