    You can write this down:

Two people can keep a secret if one is dead.

Yes - BUT if someone says to me they are really worried about something and need to talk to me about it and I must promise not to tell anyone else - I tell them No I will not promise that, until I know it is not concerning someone being hurt or harmed. It's their choice then whether to tell me or not.

Yes, I'm very good at keeping my word in my own opinion, unless by doing so I allowed harm.

I have done it many times. You're only as good as your word. If I say I promise, I would never break a trust. That would be the end of my credability.

Definitely (unless it's illegal). I have a friend's secret in my "vault" now and it's been about 10 years. I'll go to my grave with it.

Yes, unless it involves something illegal. My friends know me well enough to know that if they tell me they are breaking/have broken the law (other than drugs - that's their decision), I'll turn them in.

I have learned my lesson not to blindly just say you'll keep a promise without knowing what to expect. If the promise that I'm making would not hurt others if I keep it and things of the like, I have no problem at all keeping it. People better not entrap me into promises like "If I tell you something, you have to promise not to tell. Promise? ........ Okay, now that you've promised, I'm actually part of that group of people that murdered that girl. Ya know?" Those are times when promises should be broken in order to get innocent people out of trouble who should not be in trouble and that is one of them. Anyway...

Depends on what they tell me. If it doesn't involve hurting themselves or hurting others, I would have no reason to tell a soul.

No, I have to tell my spouse. As long as I can trust him.
I couldn't tell my Ex. Cause he didn't make me feel comfortable telling him. I couldn't tell him anything about his sister without him some how bringing the subject up. In a General conversation. Which would make her Look at me real fast cause she couldn't tell if he knew or not.
If I can't trust him I tell one of my friends that doesn't know the person or any of the people they know.
