It's a fact that people in CofS are being told to redo their training (at their own expense and also the time it takes is CONSIDERABLE) because the church now has "golden age of tech" (new drills) and many of the courses were revised. This was long after the death of L Ron Hubbard which means they aren't abiding by their own "no alterations of "Source" " stricture. Also there are newer auditing rundowns, some created by Hubbard, others created by other people and attributed to him. Certain processes, while not cancelled, have fallen out of favor and certain others are pushed instead. The OT levels have been revised many times and the DCSI was implemented then later replaced with the CCRD then, I believe, the Sunshine Rundown. Further, there are sec checks on OTVII even though Hubbard said not to do that. The cult constantly revises Hubbard's stuff then they turn around and point fingers at people who leave CofS and still want to practice Scientology.
(by the way, anyone wanting translation of all this Scn jargon and alphabet soup has only to ask. I'm assuming that the original questioner is familiar with this stuff but it's likely that other readers won't be. For that, you have my apologies in advance and if you want to ask for elucidation, just put a comment in and I'll answer.)

The basics of auditing have not changed, but there have been considerable advances and refinements in auditing processes over the years. L. Ron Hubbard continued his research and development of Scientology auditing technology throughout his life, and completed it before he passed away. All of his technology is now available and presented in an exact sequence of gradient steps in which it should be used.
