  • Obama!
  • How about you ask: How did Martin Luther King influence you?, then you can do an essay on how he has influenced todays society.
  • You might include incidents and influences from his early life that led him to become such a passionate advocate for civil rights later in his life. You might talk about the direction he was headed when his life was cut short. You might contrast situations in civil rights in his time with the same from your own time, and postulate how he might act or react now as opposed to then.
  • If you have not already done so, try and determine the feelings of the professor/teacher who will grade your paper, insofar as MLK. If he/she is a liberal and admires Reverend King, dwell on the positive impact he had on the American society, which were many. On the hand, if the grader is way to the right, make certain you note King's infidelity and indiscretions. It's a pragmatic approach...not necessarily an honorable one, but definitely pragmatic.
  • I would first of all make sure that I got his name right. Martin Luther King, Jr. is the topic of your paper. It's not a hyphenated name, and the "Jr." suffix is important, unless you want to write about his father. Other than that, what you write about him is easy to find on the Web, including the bare facts of his life -- parents, birthday, and major events including some of the demonstrations and marches he led, his marriage to Coretta Scott and of course his assassination, and what changes have been made since then. Next, if you're going to ask questions about him in AB, I'd re-categorize out of Computer / Software.
  • MLK is really Michael King who just called himself Matin Luther. He was heavily funded by the Communist party of Canada, America and the former Soviet Union. He plagerised his doctoral thesis and yes did indulge in booze, whores and drugs. This is all public record. But college isn't a place for facts anymore, it is for socialization. You can condemn God on any campus, but help you that same God if you question the content of Micheal King's character. Just kiss his ass and get your A.
