I so wish it was possible to fix this yourself, but I'm afraid it really isn't. If the phone is less than 12 months old, it is under warranty and can be returned to and replaced by your carrier. If it is over 12 months old, you can take it into the carrier to be repaired. If it is over 24 months old and you are eligible for an upgrade, you might want to consider upgrading. If you aren't eligible, you might want to consider purchasing a refurbished phone from your carrier. I hope this helps. Thanks. SukiSue
