Help answer this question below.

I had this problem in Word in Office 2003. Now, I have it again in Office 2007. I created a line by typing the underscore a few times. Now, I can't delete the line. Isn't there some way to get rid of it?

    Click in the paragraph immediately before the line.

    Go to the Format... Borders and Shading menu, select None and click OK.

    This works in every version of Word I have used, although I haven't used Word 2007, so I could be wrong.

    Yeah, hit Ctrl-Z immediately after the line appears, it should remove the line and revert back to the underscores.
