They do in a way... As the basic premise behind them is that there are huge pockets of people all over the world that honestly believe that they have cornered the market on the correct way to please and reach God... They each believe that they are right and everyone else is wrong and the punishment for not seeing things their way... is some hell fire and brimstone suffering they will endure for not being like they are. Personally... I don't think God likes Religion either. How can anything like that ever work out in anyone's favor realistically?

No - the people who follow the religions are responsible for any worsing up that happens. Religions by the themselves don't cause things to be better or worse -the people who follow them are solely responsible for how better or worse off things get.

i think man makes the world worse,the love of power and money, and all mans natural tendencies.... man was bad enough with God and will certainly be worse without HIM.... religions(mans) don't help any more than any other ..but it isn't all that keeps the world getting worse and worse.. rich merchants,governments.... none of these helps, but it can't be helped..it's man..:)justme

religions are 80% bad ( really bad) and 20% good, up till this point. if you know even half the shit that goes on because of religions, your head would explode. it's my opinion that religions will in all likelyhood cause the death of the majority of the people on this planet, maybe even every single human being in existance. u better love god a whole lot because u, your parents, your kids, your friends, and everyone you ever knew will prob die for religions ( which is made up bullshit by the way).

Anyone who believes in a giant man in the sky has a screw loose, so yes religion makes the world worse. I can only see religion being used to control the masses who are to weak to think for themselves so they make up some ridiculous story which has never been proven and is based on faith, it's just one big con, there is no god.
