Question

Help answer this question below.

I have hypothyroidism and have been taking medicine for over a year. Originally the pharmacy gave me purple levothryroxin pills. Now the pharmacy switched to another company and gave me blue pills but they claim it's the same. Should I be concerned?

On the packing there will be details of the drug content of the pills you bought.
Just check whether it is the same drug that the earlier pill contained.
Also check the reputation of the new company.
If all the above criteria is satisfied you have no need to be concerned or worried.
If still in doubt show the new pills to the Doctor who prescribed the drug in the first place.
