Someone has installed Spector key logging software on my computer. How can I remove it without formatting the drive?

• this was installed on purpose. I was hoping to find a registry key or something to block or uninstall w/o formating. thanks.

• OK. Are you saying that the software has no effective uninstall routine? I'm still confused as to why just uninstalling the program doesn't solve your problem. But if that's not an option, in theory, if you deleted all the files associated with the program and all registry keys, that would cripple the program.

• You have to know the files. It is stealth. I may have to just format the drive. then there is a program called deep freeze I am going to install after that and hopefully that will help. thanks for your help.

• I know they installed it because i can see when the screen shots and packets are going thru. Its the type of thing this company does to employees. I was the LAN admin at that co. without having the password to log into it...........you really have to format the drive.

• good answer. i am going to install windows defender tomorrow. but it is stealth. i don't think it will detect it. there is a program i am going to install after i clean up my hard drive. its called deep freze. pretty cool.
