Question

The White House staff has been briefing Barack Obama's team on a series of worst-case scenarios that could face the country after President Bush leaves office. That's the latest. Apparently, the absolute worst case scenario is that Bush doesn't leave. ya?

It is not possible that Bush would not leave. It is in the constitution that a president can only serve 2 terms, and only consecutively. They cannot serve any longer under any circumstances and have no more authority to do anything politically afterwards.Anyway public opinion is so low that it would create a civil war if he stayed on.
