The best time for me would be what they call the off season, when the motel rates are the lowest, and there are less crowds. I don't like crowded places.

it's always a good time to go to miami :)

it depends on what you want to do there, but you can usually go to the beach even in november when most places are really cold. if you are an art lover, art basel happens in the first week of december usually so it's great to come then. in spring, there is a book fair and there are tons of concerts and shows all year.

i lived there for six years...and i miss it!

- they have tons of parties and concerts for all kinds of artists/bands in both june and july. but either june or july is good...it is basically the same weather for those months.
  
  just check out www.miami.com or other sites like www.citysearch.com and see what they have planned. but if you are just beaching it...ANY TIME IS GOOD!!

June-July..............hot hot hot
Try Sept- Dec.............but not over the holiday weeks.

i went to miami in october and it was sooo hot! so i know it'll be even hotter in june and july! the beach was still pretty crowded though.
