  • Oh boy, seen this case before. Not the best idea, but if its something your gonna go through with, get it all in writing, have them sign, have copies, make sure they understand it, everything.
  • Even worse than doing business with relatives. If things go south with family, you will be happy not to talk to them.
  • bad news........
  • Do it often. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. The one downside, at least doing what I do, is not getting paid or not charging. The other downside is the possibility of not doing a good job. But, in the same sense, friends and word of mouth is how I get business. Bit of a double edged sword.
  • BAD!! BAD!! BAD!! BAD!! BAD!! IDEA!!
  • bad idea...very bad idea
  • i avoid it like the plague. being in real estate for years, ive seen family members and friends turn on each other like rabid animals over money. the power struggles are ugly but true. i would not expect such bad behavior from my best friends ~ i dont imagine them operating that way ~ but i wouldnt want there to be even the remotest possibility of weirdness happening and friendship lost due to a business transaction gone awry. also, theres a big difference between enjoying hanging out with someone and working with them. i also learned from my mom, who had a few business partners that started out as friends. every business partner tried to stab her in the back. i would like to keep mine scar free.
  • Sometimes good, sometimes bad. But many things can go wrong with friends and family, it's good to draw up a good contract.
  • It should be Within the Terms and conditions of business!
  • You and your friend must both be prepared to separate business from personal. Either one of you could make this a disaster. But both of you together could make it an unparalleled success.
  • nop never a good idea
  • Not a good idea if you want to keep them as friends.
  • me and my best friends do deals back and forth all the time and have for thirty years
