We have checked the battery and alternator. We have not checked the starter but it tries to turn over. I thought the starter would just click if it wasn't working???? We have not checked the crank sensor either. I will check ont that next.

You're reading I have a 1994 Ford Escort 1.9, 5 speed. I was driving and the car just died. We have reset the inertia switch, replaced the plugs, fuel filter, & fuel pump. The engine turns over but just wont start. Any other ideas?
