First check your internet connection.
second try to get the update for the game in other place, like downloading from the computer and then move it with a diskonkey.
check if you have enough free space on your ps3.
what eror is thet? is there a number?
if you have a fraind with ps3 try download it with is ps3 and then copy the software into diskonkey.

You're reading I just bought call of duty world at war for ps3 and it tells me i have to update software when i start to download it goes no further then 4 percent before it says error? anybody know how to fix this..
