• I do travel, but not often abroad. It's quite different than traveling within Europe, you know! We are spending a lot of money on my son's trip to Japan, and then he's off to college! If I find a money tree, I'll be right over. :) Otherwise, it may be a couple of years. :)

• summer is mayhem! tourists are mad and I keep away from the beach. My Irish in-laws love it though so everyone's happy. Early spring and autumn is great, peaceful, life's slow, restaurants always busy, food and wine and cognac,..... Yeepee!!

AMAZING!!

• yup.. i lived in Portland Maine for 5 years and it was just the way u discribed it in iowa, except the summers were amazing tho they were a little humid! i loved that place.. if u ever get the chance to see Portland Me u should do it (in the summer time ofcourse!)

• Most of Texas is being hit pretty hard with this artic blast. San Antonio has just about shut down, it's an icy mess around here and we're not really too equiped to handle this kind of weather. Salt is very hard to find in the stores as well as most of the basics.

• Nah, not at all. When it gets to February, we're going to have a string of 40+ days - we always do. I prefer the winter, 13-19 degree days, hardly gets lower than that.
