Sounds lovely! When can I move there? :)
by anonymous on May 13th, 2008
Hey, a quick hop on a plane or train would get you here in no time at all! :D
The Atlantic coast just north of the Gironde estuary, near Royan in France.
C'mon you bring the food for BBQ, I supply the red Bordeaux, beer whatever you fancy (drinks of course)!

Well, I'll have to stop off at a market, because I think the foods might spoil on the plane ride! I would love to come back to France!
by anonymous on May 13th, 2008
hey i wanna come too.. :) i'll get the snacks :)
by SoPtAmEr on May 13th, 2008
Yes! The invitation was meant for both of you. Actually wouldn't it be fun to have everyone reading this question and our answers and comments to just beam over here :-D!
But only if they bring enough booze and food and girls and things :-D

Sounds fun. :) If only! Right now our travel funds are sending my son to Japan in June! Perhaps I will get abroad in a couple of years. :) I only wish I could skip the airplane part. ugh.
by anonymous on May 13th, 2008
If we wait till they invent them travelling methods it might be too late, so what you're waiting for? :-D
by Abbra gone Underground on May 13th, 2008
hhhhhh.. i think abladi got a point there! u should travel as much as u can... traveling is the most mind relaxing thing in the whole world.. it is a natural mind therapy!
by SoPtAmEr on May 13th, 2008
I do travel, but not often abroad. It's quite different than traveling within Europe, you know! We are spending a lot of money on my son's trip to Japan, and then he's off to college! If I find a money tree, I'll be right over. :) Otherwise, it may be a couple of years. :)
by anonymous on May 13th, 2008
right on.. money can be a bitch! hopefully u'll find ur money tree :)

Thanks for the invite, SoPtAmEr! I've been to your area on my way to Pisa visiting friends. Yes, I love Isola d'Asti, was invited to the most fabulous restaurant, had the greatest meal in my life there and I dream of going back there.
by Abbra gone Underground on May 13th, 2008

by SoPtAmEr on May 13th, 2008
summer is mayhem! tourists are mad and I keep away from the beach. My Irish in-laws love it though so everyone's happy. Early spring and autumn is great, peaceful, life's slow, restaurants always busy, food and wine and cognac,..... Yeepee!!
by Abbra gone Underground on May 13th, 2008
Never been there but I love Petra!
by Abbra gone Underground on May 13th, 2008

by SoPtAmEr on May 13th, 2008

by Abbra gone Underground on May 13th, 2008
u'll be amazed of it's power!! it is amazing!! :) if u ever go there u should contact me.. i'll gladly help u out to go see some great sites that a lot of tourists don't know exist! my old roommate from college is Jordanian! so i went to see him there and he just took me to see the REAL jordan!! where tourists usually do not go... AMAZING!!
by SoPtAmEr on May 13th, 2008
Whoa! Sounds fantastic.
I am not saying that I will find the time this year, if however one day my path would lead me to that area, how could I get in touch with you?
Thanks anyway for your offer of help! :)
