  • I'm not, in the sense that I know pretty much close to nothing at all on both of these subjects, which would prove why I have no idea that many people answer incorrectly to the questions posed in that category.
  • The answers to science and math questions tend to be quantitative, so it's very clear to check whether an answer is correct or incorrect. (There is no gray area). People probably offer just as many incorrect answers to questions of every subject, but it's harder to prove for certain that they're incorrect because there's more than one answer or more than one way of phrasing the answer.
  • I am not good in Math at all, so I normally never answer questions referring to that.
  • Right or wrong everyone is entitled to answer how they say fit.......of course thats my opinion. And not that it should matter what we are GOOD at per your standards. I graduated with honors in both high school and college. And my career is in a mathematic field. Pertaining to http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/118423 was just an answer!
  • I'm not too bad at math, but physics baffles me.
  • Eli fox-Epstein
  • I don't know. You may be too picky with what you want for answers. I'm good enough at both subjects to give you a general answer; but if you want proofs and qualifying equations in a specific area I'm a little behind in my reading. If I have a general question I'll ask it here. If I want an answer to an advanced question I'll email the head of the physics department at a local university.
  • I'm fine at maths, unless it is extraordinarily difficult; I did Maths and Further Maths during school and did a year of an Economics degree which is nearly all maths until I realised I was sick of algebra. Physics on the other hand fascinates me but I don't have a clue about any of it.
  • I'm ok with math and I like physics and have a lot of info in my head but its hard for me to explain it out loud and in writing! So I try to stay away from those types of questions!
  • I am pretty good at both subjects. I made A's in both of them in high school. I am also currently taking both physics and calculus in college.
  • I've got a couple of math degrees and use math all the time in my job. I sometimes show how I arrive at my answers so at least you can check em!
  • and biology, don't forget biology! ps, I see you!!!! where ya been?
  • I would look at a maths Q (but not physics), but I probably wouldn't answer the maths one unless it was pretty simple. In regard to chemistry, I am happy to try there, as that is more my speciality (food chem to be specific). It is possible the physics/maths guru you are looking for has not joined AB yet! :)
  • I am particularly good at maths and not too bad at physics. But I probably wouldn't answer the physics Q's because I hate it!!!!
  • B.Sc. Honours in physics Current grad student.
  • Well, I have a B.S. in mathematical sciences from UCSB :-)
  • Doing BSc(Nanotechnology). O'm doing the physics stream so I've done a lot of physics, but I mainly do Quantum and Particle Physics now a days. Done 1 biology unit. Mathematics is quite common in my course, and so is chemistry. It's a good allround science course in the first year, and begins to focus onto nanoscale science in second and third year. Conclusion: I consider myself fairly good(/confident) in Physics and Maths. Not so much Chemistry and Biology.
  • I did maths and physics at university but I don't use it in any great capacity now as I work in IT. I think I generally remember things and I still try and keep active as best possible! Just don't ask me about fluid dynamics...
  • I suck at both..
  • I'm not so good at either. but I'm also not confident enough to post an answer if I'm not sure it's right, so on occasion when I do, it's backed with a lot of fact checking.
  • Don't look at me! I'm Definitely not good at either.
  • well im the only person that my highschool has ever allowed to take calculus and physics both as a junior so yea i guess im pretty good at them but im not sure how specific of an answer i could give you over a computer.
  • I'm on a physics degree, if that helps.
  • I like to answer this kind of questions from time to time, especially if they do not look too much like "homework". I sometimes ask them too. I remember some of what I learned some time ago and I am actually good at research. I think many of my answers are accurate, please tell me if you find something wrong about them! Sometimes I could give answers that would be a little different than what you are learning at school. Moreover, I never studied in an English speaking country. I don't work in physics or maths, but in computer programming.
  • Im not...thats why I never answer them.
  • I'm really good at math but I never answer these types of questions because I think that most of them are homework.
  • I'm as good at it as I feel like being. I test well in them, but sometimes it's not worth giving a full accurate answer.
  • I have a (rather old) degree in physics. I read science magazines every week. I usually check any answer of which I am not very confident.
  • if you played solitaire enough, whats the point?
  • I've my expertise in both, but I restrain myself from providing answers as most of the kids round here use this site as homework copying paradise.Instead,I guide them.
  • Those users are particularly good at it: http://www.answerbag.com/profile?id=102713 http://www.answerbag.com/profile?id=12708 http://www.answerbag.com/profile?id=44479
  • meh, who knows. i'm sure a lot people who think theyre right really arent. there is always a way to check your answer to see if it's valid or not. more complex questions, use a graphing calculator and just plugin all your "answers" to check if your answers are actually the correct ones
