I think so. Depends on how the book strikes you. For me, Catch-22 by Joseph Heller, One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain all changed my life. They might not do much for anyone else, mind, but they sure changed me.
