i think that involves sticking a needle through flesh? Yeh- it hurts and the type of acessory you put in the hole gets in the way of everything. i took mine out and got a navel, ear or nipple done instead.

You are putting a hole into your body. YES IT HURTS. it literally feels like gettign a hole put into your lip. a lot of pressure and a slight sting. ok maybe not so slight of a sting. it hurts.

The after pain is much worse, especially if it gets infected, which is very possible.

Ive Recently Had My Lip Pierced. I Was Really NERVOUS. It Scared The Bagebers Out Of Me When The Lady Did It. It Was More Like A Quick Sting.

i can't take pain very well and i got my lip pierced. ppl lie when they say it hurts the the point were u wanna cry.. in comparison HONESTLY it feels like a little prick..an it feels warm. its to quick 2 notice anything it does NOT hurt but it does not tickle..haha. have u ever had ur blood sugar tested by one of those little blood sugar machines that diabetics use? it feels like that. quick

nope and nadda getting ur lip pierced doesnt hurt but then again it depends on how much pain u can endure, its all in the mind

no dont worry about it i had mine doen two years ago and all that happens is that you feel a bit of preasure. its not that bad and it is a freaking awesome piercing and i totally dont regret getting it you will do fine if your getting yours pierced=]

Hmmm... I can imagine it to feel like getting punched in the lip with a pen. Try it... Press a pen into your lip where you want the piercing (not through... just to feel the pressure). Now imagine a sharp object going through that point to the inside of your lip. For those of use that occasionally chew the insides of our mouths, for those of us who have bitten our own lip (accidentally) hard... IT HURTS. Think about it. :-

No. Not at all. If you get it done just a few words of wisdom. Clean it 3-5 times a day (use a q-tip and Dial liquid soap for the outside of your piercing), rinse your mouth out everytime you eat, smoke, ect. with 1/2 listerine 1/2 water. Do not chew on your piercing! I learned the hard way! It takes longer to heal...And make sure you rotate your piercing to elimiate crust (It will be on there when you wake up!)
