my terrapin does normally hibernate every winter but he has always woken up sort of once a week to move positions however he has stayed very still this year. none of us want to touch him incase that gives him some sort of heart failure if he isnt dead how can you tell without leaving a potentially dead terrapin in the kitchen for another 3months?
