    Don't listen to me, but I had 3 in one eye and I used a needle to put a hole in two of them and then squeezed out the gunk. The third one is unreachable, but also hardly noticeable. I went to a doctor once and before I could say anything he said, "Hey, what are those things in your eye?"

    Stye is an inflammation of the eye lid.
    What you must do is to apply an antibiotic anit inflammatory eye drop or eye ointment.
    There is no quick and easy way to get rid of a stye.
    It may take upto 2 weeks for a total cure with proper medication.
    In any case it is better to consult an opthalmologist.

    You don't want to 'pop' a stye like you might a pimple. That is not good for it. So what the other guy did was really not how to go about it. the only healthy thing you can do is keep a hot compress (hot washcloth or heating pad) pressed to it. Maybe take a day off. As with most every affliction, rest helps and lowered stress levels.
    Make sure youo wash your hands if you touch your eyes and if your heating pad isn't washable put a bit of toilet paper or a paper towel between your eye and the pad. Atye's can be contagious so be careful if you don't take off work. If it lasts longer than a month, see a doctor.
