Japanese high school teachers are often stricter and more unpleasant than American ones are. Some students throw books at them when the teachers push them to the ends of their ropes. What would happen if they did the same at a Japanese school?

    ... The student would be charged with, "assault with a weapon" ... the judge would consider a book to be less lethal than most other weapons and give a minimal sentence, but the student would still do jail time, and would have the criminal record for life.
