dido. take it to a parts store they usualy do scans for free. if you have misfires(if your mechanically inclined)with truck running pull of you cop (coil over pack) and unplug the wire and see if truck runs ruff, plug back in and continue to the next one. so if you run into one that dont make it run different then you can get some electro conductive stuff and put it on the springy part that connects to the spark plug. shops want you money so try some things before dumping $$$. maybe replace plugs if the goo stuff dont work and put in some injector cleaner before adding fuel. also check the vaccum lines for holes ps if u arent mechanically inclined do not attempt any thing leave it to the pros and let them take your $$$
Could be a lot of things... including problems with your idle air control. Easiest way to rule out misfires is by checking what your computer is reporting. The truck's computer definitely knows when it misfires and it can tell you which piston.

You're reading I haye a 2000 F150 5.4L the truck runs good for the first 4 min. then it sounds like one cylinder is not fireing. the truck runs really crapy after. could it be the coils or the injectors.
