Mild stomach upset is a side-effect of Viagra, you may want to mention this to your doctor next time, but it is generally safe to continue using Viagra even if you experience this...this side-effect may fade over continued usage. Another suggestion is to try Cialis or Levitra and see if those work better for you.
Trying to administer the pill rectally would just be a waste of money.
