PLEASE HELP The area of a parallelogram is 128cm^2. The height is one half the base. Find the perimeter os the paralleogram

    B = base. H = height. - definitions
    eq 1: H = 1/2 B - given
    eq 2: H * B = 128. - given
    multiply by 2 in eq 1:
    2H = B
    Substitute 2H for B in eq 2:
    H * 2H = 128;
    Divide by 2:
    H^2 = 64;
    Take the square root of both sides:
    H = 8;
    Substitute 8 for H in eq 1:
    B = 16.
    Unless this is a right parallelogram (a rectangle), all we can get is the minimum perimeter: 2A + 2B = 48cm.
    As the angle moves from 90 degrees, the perimeter increases without bound.
