When you get like white lines on your nails sometimes what are they and what do they mean? Is it normal?

White lines? I have white dots on them and I asked my doctor what they were and they said it was just to store extra calcium you were giving your body until you needed it. So it's a good thing, actually. You have lots of calcium in your body.
