It sounds like she is preparing for the delivery of her babies...The whining (labor pains hurt), Has she been doing any nesting or digging ? it could take anywhere from a couple of hrs. to several days of having the contractions now & then...usually if the contractions r very close together & u can visually see pups moving into position, she is not far from having her babies...i would have a x-ray done to see how many babies approx. & what positions the babies r in...i do the x-ray about 2 weeks b4 she's due...dichihuahua

Puppies can deliver as little as 5 mins or as long as 4 hours apart. But if you don't see a puppy within 2 hours you REALLY hve to take her to the vet. You aren't qualified to make a judgement call and you could lose everybody, even the mom!!

Are you sure she is ok. I would call and ask a vet about her.

I hope you have already taken her to the vet...she may be having a difficult time giving birth and needs to have a c-section, I have no idea if she was on a proper diet or if you were giving her calcium and the calcium prepares her for birth helps her urterus to contract making it easier for her to give birth or giving her more strength by her being in labor so long is dangerous for her and her pups...plz see your vet or a vet soon!!!!!!! Sorry I noticed this is an old question, I hope everything worked out for you and your pups!

You need to call a vet ASAP or you might be risking all their lives.

The water leakage isn't something that I have any knowledge of, all I know is that her temperature is low whcih usually indicated labour but given that she is around a week early then I would reccomend she see the vet even for peace of mind. Good luck. :)

Just noticed the date, hope everything went well. :)

Once her water has broken, she is in increased danger of contracting an infection. Call a vet right away.
