How long does it take for a birds tail feathers to grow back if they were completely pulled out by another animal?

    It takes awhile, not sure of exact time. My Cockatiel lost all her tail feathers, and slowly but surely they came back, but she looked pretty funny for awhile.I believe it took around 4 weeks or so. Each species is different depending on the length of the feathers.

    it depends if the folicles were ripped out, if they were it could take over a year, if not maybe a few months. (happned to my bird)
