The safest way to go is just not swear. Alot of people tend to turn their ears off and assume your answer/questions aren't worth reading because you dropped an F-bomb. :P Also, some people are genuinely offended by coarse language, and there are minors on this site as well, so it would seem to me that the best course of action is to refrain from naughty language.
There's a difference between saying "What the hell were you thinking?" and going off on a string of blazing profanity.
The former is pretty much acceptable.
There are some who think so, but my advice would be not to use the "F" word.
I think swearing once or twice is not really that bad. I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, of us have used bad words in the past (and continue to do so) in real life.
Swearing only becomes "repulsive" when it's done all the time, and/or when it's directed at particular users.
Besides, swearing loses its "shock value" when it's done frequently ;)
Don't swear at someone and use sparingly, swearing too much becomes a habbit and limits your vocabulary, it loses its effectiveness ;0)

You're reading I am one that will swear quite a bit sometimes, but I was wondering, does it go against AB etiquette to swear? I mean I know everyone has their own opinions and I don't want to be pissing people off
