    Jessica. We have known each other for nearly 13 years, we know everything about each other. She has always been there for me and me for her. We are sisters in every way except by blood.

    I have a best friend that is still my best friend because we have not had one disagreement since 8th grade. (I am 22 now) I have a best friend that I have known since 2006 that is my best friend because we just click he understands everything I say and I understand everything he says and we never have had to explain our selfs. I have another best friend that I have also been friends with since 2006.....He is my best friend because he has been there for me through some very hard times. I have one more best friend I have known him since we were 14 and we are best friends because we know each other inside and out and can read each other like a book. We are also afraid if we lose the title we lose the friendship shhhhh.

    i don't have specifically one. 2 guys that i'm closest to one's a relative. 2 girls one i've been best friends w since 3rd grade the other since 2nd i used to go to church w her. why? because they've been there unconditionally for me through all my ups and downs, supportive on my downs and celebrated for me on my ups without trying to only take advantage of my good moments, they're trustworthy, moral, non judgmental, compassionate, open minded...we just click, for lack of better words

    My best friend is Terrence Thompson, a boy who seems to be just like me. We always hang out together, and we're doing innapropiate things. For example always throwing empty bottles at things that make it break. Also we occasionaly hang out at the movies. Unfortunately he knows more about society about me, since he usually has more friends then me and alot of girls like him. ((Is it because I'm to soft?))

    she will listen and give excellent advice.
    we never run out of things to talk about.
    and no matter where we live we will always remain bestmates ! ( this is being proved as she moved away last year :( ! )

    Because we are very similar in our thoughts and actions. We understand each other, we can go for weeks without actually seeing each other and its fine. We are there for each other if need be. She will stand by me no matter what and i would do the same for her. We actually look like each other except she is dark and im blonde.. in fact lots of people ask if we are sisters strangely enough!!!
    She has seen me through some of my worst times and happiest timesk, and i dont know what i'd do without her.

    Mine is Karen, I meant her 44 years ago, we were friends then. We became best friends when in PTA together, than worked together. She has been there for me no matter what, no matter what time. She listens, really listens. She remembers, really remembers, you don't have to remind her, ever. She makes me laugh and forget that I'm not well anymore.
    She is loyal, trustworthy, and I love her dearly:D

    I had two best friends, Zachary Smithson and Nicholas Haney. They were always there for me and I absolutely loved them both. Zach was killed by a drunk driver in February of '06 and Nick was killed in a motorcycle accident on April 27 of this year, but I still feel like they're with me, watching over me everyday and that makes me love them even more.

    We met at hospital, he'd taken his mother in to see someone about something... can't remember anymore, mostly because I didn't care back then, I didn't have any friends; but he took her past my hospital room, where I was all battered and bruised and he looked at me, and I was very rude. The next time we met I’d had half my leg muscle removed about three months later and was in physio, he walked passed the room where I was busy telling the physiotherapist that he was an idiot and should be shot in the eye, I finally had enough and left, I grabbed my cane and was half way down the hallway before my leg packed in again, I passed out due to the pain and woke up in a hospital bed a few hour later with him sad beside me reading the newspaper an drinking a coffee. He then offered me one, and we talked, I was hostile to begin with but things got better. Once I was checked out I thought I’d be clear of him, but he drove me home and stayed to help me settle in again(why?). Then I thought I was truly clear of him, but the next day he came around with groceries and tickets to a monster truck rally he’d scored, we’ve been friends ever since. Besides, he’s just about the only person in the world who can get me to do anything. He just takes away my favourite toys… BASTARD!

    My best friend is Susan because she's always been there for me unconditionally. She accepts me for who I am, all my strengths and all my weaknesses. She gives me honest answers when I ask her opinion, whether it's an answer she thinks I'll want to hear or not. She encourages me when I'm down and celebrates with me when I'm up. What more can I ask for? Hopefully someday I'll find a man who fulfills that - I've always wondered what it's like to have a s/o that is also your best friend. Must be nice!

    If this means why is my best friend my best friend then that is because I can trust my best friend with anything, embarrasing, stupid, whatever. I can have fun with her by just sitting there and talking and laughing. A best friend is soemtimes like your sister/brother. It's great to have a best friend! My bestest friend on AB would be Kado because we have SO much in common, and I could tell him anything I mean anything. Hope this is the kind of answer you were looking for.

    I don't have a best friend. Instead, I have my 'family.' To me, your family aren't the people related by blood, though they can be. Your family are the people who will you pick you up when you're down, then tackle you and knock you back down again. My family has been there for me through thick in thin and the few years I've known them. Anything can be said around them, because we don't judge. And I love my family :)
