At least half of them, and I am also a subscriber to Discover Magazine. It's a great publication, especially for the price.

I've read about 10 on the list and most of the honorable mentions; I saw about three more that I would like to read. My favorite of those is The Cosmic Connection by Carl Sagan; I love his works, he can really think outside the box and put things into perspective at the same time. His work is also less dry that a lot of others on similar subjects.

I have read about 1/2 of them....I just picked up "the origin of the species"

I have read just one in original. 'Origin of species' by Charles Darwin. I found it in an old books store at College Street, Calcultta. I know of most of the remaining 24 but never had occasion to read the originals. Carl Sagan's book was once sent to me but as a TV serial by him was on then - I only browsed through it. I wonder why 'Interpretation of Dreams' by Sigmund Freud has not found mention in the list.

sorry - not my cup of tea

Just 3, but an interested bunch of books. No one READS the Newton work, as it's not exactly a reading type of book, but it looks good on the list. I love this kind of stuff. I've read a lot of 'science books' NOT on this list, too.
