Will my insurance allow me to drop my son from my insurance before the enrollement period now that he has been accepted for medicaid

I added him to my insurance because I didn't want him to go without insurance coverage while I was waiting for an anwer

    They should yes, since Medicaid will pay for everything. Call Medicare's 800 number and also your insurance company. All you will need is written proof of some kind I would think.
